La Stanza dello Scirocco takes shape in the quiet, abstract atmosphere of a place suspended in time: the room where, in Sicily’s old country houses, people once sought refuge from the heavy sirocco winds. A windowless retreat, it was where children spent long hours building delicate card castles, their thoughts wandering with the restless air outside that unsettled the world. From this inspiration emerges a collection of objects with irregular geometries, compositions of fragmented pieces in varying sizes, delicately connected at points of unstable equilibrium.
